Single – Joji – Run

I haven’t been too keen on Joji’s style of music, especially his take on Alternative R&B, because it felt really one note to me when he first broke out commercially, but this single is vastly different from what hes dropped before. It’s more diverse and he’s really using his voice, hitting higher notes than usual. Although, the subject matter still remains the same and he retains the sad attitude hes kept since his “In Tongues” EP, his singing in this new single really shows how far he’s come. I’ve really been able to enjoy this new song without having to doubt myself unlike his previous work and I can only hope he continues into this direction.
